PT Kimia Farma Apotek (KFA) as the largest pharmaceutical service network company in Indonesia has been a part of public health solutions for more than fifty years. In addition, Kfa presents a new concept of merchandising to provide improved health services for the public. Within the framework of this change, KFA simultaneously opened 9 (nine) new concept pharmacies on Friday, April 14, 2023. The opening of the nine pharmacies was held in a hybrid manner centered at Kimia Farma Sunter 2 Pharmacy, Jalan Danau Sunter Raya C-2/2 Sunter Jaya, Jakarta Utara, which was attended directly by the President Director of PT Kimia Farma Tbk, David Utama and the KFA Directors
With the new concept and image, Kimia Farma Pharmacy customers will get a shopping experience with more comfortable and exclusive services
"The variety of choices of health products presented is supported by a new merchandising system, making it easier for visitors to get the product they want. This is one of the new KFA management work programs, namely retail transformation which includes the new concept of pharmacy and merchandising. All KFA services can later be accessed online and can be delivered directly to the customer's home. During the promotion period, we are free of charge delivery services within a 5km radius," said Agus Chandra, Main Director of KFA
Apart from the KF Sunter Pharmacy, eight other pharmacies were opened namely KF 555 Cidodol Jakarta Pharmacy, KF Express KM 260 Pharmacy Banjaratma Brebes, KF Rau Pharmacy Cilegon, KF Sungai Danau Pharmacy Banjarmasin, KF Alam Sutera 2 Pharmacy Tangerang, KF Kamonji Pharmacy Palu, KF Pharmacy 26 Diponegoro Surabaya, and KF Sultan Iskandar Muda Pharmacy Nagan Raya Banda Aceh
"The retail transformation being carried out by KFA will make Kimia Farma Pharmacy the main destination for people to look for health products. This is our (Kimia Farma) way of responding to the high demand for quality, safe, complete and varied health products with the best service," said David Utama, Main Director of PT Kimia Farma Tbk.
Through that change in concept KFA moved forward. Previously, the image attached to KFA was very strong as a pharmacy providing medicines with the image "Remember Medicine, Remember Kimia Farma" changed to "Remember Healthy, Remember Kimia Farma".
"These changes will not only be felt in the nine pharmacies, but also in all Kimia Farma Pharmacies throughout Indonesia," concluded Agus Chandra.
