2023 was a year full of hopes and challenges as evidenced by the inauguration of the new PT Kimia Farma Apotek (“KFA”) outlet. The Grand Opening of 15 outlets on Saturday, 6 May 2023 will be held in a hybrid manner which is planned at the Kimia Farma Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) outlet, with an address at Marina Raya Rukan Crown Golf B2 PIK, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, which is a positive moment. Also attending the event was the President Director of PT Kimia Farma Apotek, Agus Chandra, along with the entire KFA Board of Directors from the cities of Jakarta, Medan and Bukittinggi.
Apart from the KF PIK outlets, fourteen other outlets were opened, namely KF Jaten Surakarta, KF Sultan Ageng Cirebon, KF Meruya Jakarta, KF Kalideres Jakarta, KF Cempaka Putih 2 Jakarta, KF Zamzam Bukittinggi, KF Babatan Surabaya, KF Kutisari Surabaya, KF Pasir Kuda Bogor, KF Aikmel Mataram, KF Kedaton Lampung, KF Mimika Baru Jayapura, KF 27 Medan Red Cross, and KF Pope Pekanbaru which not only provide medicines, but also beauty products, baby & child care, personal care, medical devices , as well as other health products that people are interested in.
The next expansion was carried out by KFA by entering online or e-commerce based businesses. This step was realized by collaborating with Tokopedia and Livin' Sukha from Bank Mandiri. Through this collaboration various KFA products can be enjoyed at Kimia Farma Apotek Official Store Tokopedia and can also be through the Livin' application on the Mandiri Mobile App via the "Sukha" menu.
"This collaboration is carried out in order to work on the opportunity for the e-commerce market in Indonesia, which potentially is still quite large. As one of the largest marketplaces in Indonesia, Tokopedia has succeeded in attracting public interest to shop online with a variety of interesting themes. We are certainly very happy and enthusiastic to be able to participate in it," said Agus Chandra, Main Director of PT Kimia Farma Apotek.
Agus Chandra conveyed that KFA's collaboration with Bank Mandiri through Livin' SUKHA was also a real form of SOE synergy. The goal is of course to provide easy shopping for health products through the Livin' SUKHA application.
In addition, in the midst of the increasing positive cases of Covid-19 which are surging again, KFA plays an active role in the National Vaccination Program to create a Covid-19 Free Indonesia, especially at several points opening new outlets. The Sinopharm vaccination is free for the general public. This program will continue at the Kimia Farma Clinic until May 31, 2023.
"The recent increase in Covid-19 cases has made us need to be more vigilant. To minimize the surge in cases, the key is to maintain health protocols and also to reactivate the Covid-19 vaccination program. For this reason, we are providing a free Sinopharm vaccination program for the general public until May 31, 2023 at the Kimia Farma Clinic in Indonesia. But specifically today, KFA is also preparing the vaccine program at several points at the grand opening of new outlets," concluded Agus Chandra
