Surabaya, February 19th, 2023 - A Waste Picking Movement was held at Kenjeran Beach, Surabaya, East Java. This activity is a collaboration between Kimia Farma and Karya Salemba Empat Foundation and was held simultaneously at 35 points throughout Indonesia (from Aceh to Papua). A waste-picking movement was participated by 60 students from Airlangga University and employees from Kimia Farma Surabaya Business Unit Group (Kimia Farma Apotek, Kimia Farma Diagnostika, Kimia Farma Trading and Distribution).
A waste-picking movement was held to commemorate Waste Awareness Day on February 21st. Hopefully, this activity will serve as a positive motivator and inspiration for the community to care about the environment and waste management.
