Jakarta, 29/06/2023 - Momentum of Eid al-Adha 1444 H, PT Kimia Farma Tbk ("KAEF") distributed 12 cows and 10 goats of Qurban animals with the distribution area covering the location of the company's work units and production facilities, such as Jakarta, Kabupaten Bandung, Semarang, Kabupaten Jombang, and Kabupaten Subang. This activity is known as Qurban Sehat Kimia Farma program which is a form of corporate social responsibility. This program was carried out as a result of collaboration between KAEF and its subsidiaries, namely PT Kimia Farma Apotek, PT Kimia Farma Trading and Distribution, PT Sinkona Indonesia Lestari, and PT Phapros Tbk.
Prioritizing social care for the surrounding community, Qurban Sehat Kimia Farma program is carried out by distributing qurbani meat to the community and employees. This year, there were 94 qurban shohibul who were assisted by the company with a total of 1,300 qurban meat packages distributed.
General Manager of Affairs and Technology Information KAEF, Rony Hidayat said that Qurban Sehat Kimia Farma program in the context of Eid al-Adha 1444H is a form of concern for others which is one of KAEF's social and environmental responsibility programs.
"This program is in line with SDGs point 2 related to efforts to achieve food and nutrition security. Qurban animals are purchased from local breeders who are KAEF's fostered partners with the aim of creating prosperity and creating economic equity based on SDGs point 8. The qurban animals provided by KAEF have gone through a health check of the qurban animals and their eligibility according to the requirements as qurban animals before being distributed, "said Rony Hidayat.
One of the people who received qurban meat, Maulana appreciated this activity so that it could continue. "Thank you to Kimia Farma for providing us with Qurban animals so that the surrounding community is helped. Hopefully this activity will become a good charity for Kimia Farma," said Maulana.
