In an event themed Uncloking Potentials & Fostering Economics Partnership, Kimia Farma held a Signing Ceremonial with a business partner from Sri Lanka, Yaden International, on October 7, 2024, in Jakarta. This Business Agreement was signed by Mrs. Chairani Harahap as Commercial Director of PT Kimia Farma Tbk and Shashimal Dissanayake as Managing Director of Yaden International. This event was witnessed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Pahala N. Mansury.
The export cooperation to Sri Lanka between Kimia Farma and Yaden International includes Generic & Branded Generic Ethical products. Yaden International is one of the Private Companies in Sri Lanka that is experienced in distributing pharmaceutical products both in Government channels and Private Healthcare Providers.
The event also included exhibitions from various industries, including health, energy, agro, and FMCG manufacturing. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs hopes that Pharmaceutical Exports will increase in the Central and South Asian regions in particular and Kimia Farma can contribute to increasing the country's foreign exchange through exports/global penetration.
