Jakarta, September 21st, 2022  - As an effort to realize national health resilience, PT Kimia Farma Tbk synergizes with PT Pertamina Bina Medika Indonesia Healthcare Corporation (IHC) through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding for the synergy of health clinic services owned by the two companies.

The signing was carried out on Wednesday (21/9), at the Head Office of PT Kimia Farma Tbk, Jalan Veteran No 9, Central Jakarta. The event was attended by the President Director of PT Kimia Farma Tbk, David Utama and his staff, Acting President Director of IHC, Drg. Mira Dyah Wahyuni, MARS, Directors of PT Kimia Farma Diagnostika, and other invited guests.

For information, Kimia Farma has 410 Health Clinics and IHC has 75 Hospitals and 143 Health Clinics throughout Indonesia, so the synergy is expected to facilitate access to quality health services for the community.

"Through this synergy, the role of SOEs as development agents can be realized so that people can experience integrated and comprehensive health services," said President Director of PT Kimia Farma Tbk, David Utama.

The collaboration between Kimia Farma and IHC pratama clinics will expand the open provider services of First Level Health Facilities (FKTP) and open access to priority referrals from Kimia Farma Clinics to IHC network hospitals. The existence of KFD and IHC main clinics as Advanced Health Facilities (FKTL), in collaboration with BPJS, will be the main clinic feeders. Also, the collaboration between the IHC Hospital and the KFD Laboratory in the referral program refers to laboratory examinations.

Another service from this BUMN cluster synergy in the Health sector is IHC Telemed, where Medical Personnel at KF clinics who do not have Specialists/Sub-Specialists can teleconsul with Specialists/Sub-Specialists in the IHC Hospital network through the IHC Telemed application.

Acting President Director of IHC Drg. Mira Dyah Wahyuni, MARS added, this BUMN synergy effort is a follow-up to achieving the BUMN vision to create a health ecosystem in Indonesia, in the BUMN Health cluster.

"This is in line with IHC's role as Hospital Holding and building sustainable health services, through this collaboration IHC can reach the entire community more," he explained.
