Ichsan Rahmat Taufiq, a young man from PT Kimia Farma Trading & Distribution, a subsidiary of PT Kimia Farma Tbk (“KAEF”), successfully won the FIFAe World Cup Football Manager 2024 event in Liverpool, England, Sunday (1/9/2024). The Indonesian team represented by Ichsan Rahmat Taufiq (manager) and Budi Muhamad Manar Hidayat (assistant manager) performed extraordinarily by defeating Germany with an aggregate of 8-2 in the final round, Sunday (1/9/2024).
In the semifinals, Ichsan immediately sent home the host England with an aggregate of 5-3 and qualified for the final to meet the German team. After the semifinal match, Ichsan and Budi admitted that they were confident that they could win this event. Ichsan and Budi's courage did not shrink in the slightest when facing Germany in the match for the championship. This was proven in the final, they implemented an all-out attacking tactic.
In the first leg, Ichsan brought the advantage, Indonesia 3 - Germany 0. In the second leg, Indonesia, which was already ahead, did not slacken, and was even able to crush Germany decisively; Indonesia 5 - Germany 2. With a total score of Indonesia 8 vs Germany 2, Ichsan and Budi brought Indonesia to become the champion of the FIFAe World Cup Football Manager 2024.
The key to Indonesia's victory in the final was playing aggressively and dampening the opponent's tactics, "We played attacking, the most important thing is the opposite instruction. So every player who is dangerous, we guard and tackle," said Ichsan.
